Honey Roast Ham

I love a roast and since it was a cold autumnly day I thought a warming joint of melt in the mouth ham would do the trick. I served this with stir fry Spring veg and boiled baby potatoes.

1kg uncared ham joint

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 tablespoons honey

1 orange juiced

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Spring veg

Baby potatoes

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Pour a dash of olive oil onto a deep roasting tray and place your ham on top.

Mix your sugar, orange juice and honey in a bowl and pour over your joint.

Cover loosely with foil and put in the oven for 1 hour 20. Remove the foil and add to oven for another 30 minutes.

Meanwhile boil baby potatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes then simmering for a further 20.

Add Spring veg to a wok and add salt and pepper. Stir fry until crisp.
